dnbotte asked:

Nobody on here asks an actual, thoughtful, question about politics anymore. One that involves answerers to use their intellectual perspectives and evaluate an outcome and critically analyze the question’s context.

You’re right, this isn’t one of those questions, but perhaps this will inspire us to political scientists on here and not opinionated pundits who are loaded with biases and fallacies but lack logic, reason, and evidence.

MacUser1 asked:

Liberals who don’t even know me will often assume I am one of them by openly bashing Republicans. On the other hand, it’s pretty rare that I run into a conservative who assumes I agree with their politics.

Has anyone experienced this? Can anyone explain this phenomenon?

I am not here to bash or blame anyone, so I ask that you do the same. Please respond only if you can keep your answer civil and respectful. Thanks.

wade asked:

I am a Republican-conservative(political only) and am interested in getting into politics. I do not want to be Governor or anything, but I do live in a Capital city. Is there anything I can do to volunteer or make an appearance in the political realm? I have no political experience, and am not really qualified to run for any office. I do want to make a difference and have my voice heard.

I hear mostly it’s bad (in not so nice words). But what is it that he’s trying to pass with this new health care reform. This will be the first time I get to vote on something and I wanna do it right. Not just go by TV, celebrities, or the masses.
