needanewplace asked:

I’d like to learn about US politics as I grew up around a different political system (Parliament) and I would like to make an educated decision about who I am going to vote for. What is the difference between republicans and democrats etc ?

Seams like people act as if politics is nothing more than a sport. My team only. Care not about the other team. That kind of blind attitude is far worse than the bad politicians.

puter_patty asked:

Why are they so busy pointing fingers about who said or did what in the primary campaigns? Don’t they understand that it is the nature of politics to sling mud, cast aspersions, and generally try to make the opponet look like a loser? Good Lord! How can they be so naive?

The Health care reform I keep hearing about on the radio and TV? How is it any different than regular insurance? I heard it was something like what Canada has for health care. So canadian moms, how is your health care any different than ours? I am confused and wondering if my 600 dollar a month insurance bill might go down. : )

I got zero answers in politics or health, lol. Always ask a mother is what my mom says, lol.

Hey :) I am a teenager who has recently taken interest in politics. I realize I am growing up so I want to become more aware of the legal world around me. I was wondering where some good, reliable places to start would be (on the Internet, documentaries, new stations, whatever comes to mind).
Thank you for your time!

crazy girl asked:

This is a question directed to political science majors who’ve taken game theory. I am curious as to what impact game theory has had on your understanding of politics. Does game theory effectively predict what would happen in a zero sum game? What are the advantages to using game theory in social situations?
Some political science majors do take Game Theory as part of their math minor
