They are saying that all politics must be put aside and then they attack obama? All i am hearing is “We are above political pot shots and this is why mccain is great and obama sucks”.

I am really close to joining the military, but some of the stories i have heard from the enlisted side are really disheartening. Things like rampart politics, getting in trouble for learning medical skills, yelled at for reading instead of ‘relaxing’ etc. Anyway, are all these things also there in such high amounts in the special ops side of things, or in the officer world for that matter?
