Gypsy Quietly Reflecting asked:

Seriously. If you wanted to rant or trash you knew right where to go… The same if you wanted to ask or answer a question with any seriousness or intelligence. Now, it’s almost impossible to tell the difference between the two boards. I noticed it just after the elections were over.

What’s your take on this?
Maudie…

Not you evidently so why bother answering?
Sorry Maudie. Please excuse me while I remove this huge stick from my @ss. Really.

I’ve done all this research and yet i can’t find any examples of surrealists attempting “political action in order to improve society”
I guess I’m looking in all the wrong places. Suggestions? Ideas?

GT4Hardy asked:

Some girl I met the other day from Chicago told me that it was not called the windy city because of the wind but because of the politics from the 30’s and 40’s as well. She seemed a little flakey to me so I was just wanting to make sure. Could it be both?

Do you believe that Republicans treat politics like warfare, and Dems treat it like a debate?

politics
Dick J asked:

An author recently argued that one of the key differences between Republicans and Democrats is that Republicans treat politics like warfare, while Dems treat politics like a college debate…this supposedly explains why Republicans are better at winning elections than Dems. Do you agree or disagree, and why?
