I am a liberal democrat and my boyfriend is a conservative Republican. We haven’t killed each other (yet). I happen to think that open, friendly debate between differing political parties can be a healthy, productive thing. Unfortunately most people I talk politics with get really testy if I don’t immediately agree with their views.
